Yoga classes in the Stroud area
I offer a mixture of classes in and around the Stroud area, as well as one weekly zoom.
I took my first yoga class in 1998 whilst studying photography. I found the most beautiful, wise soulful teacher named Irene who opened the door of yoga for me as a deep spiritual practice. To this day, I consider her my heart teacher. She was humble, kind and wise.
I became a dedicated student and my path led me to Iyengar teachers - for which I am forever grateful. I found discipline and precision but over time I grew tired of the rigidity of the practice and another door opened to the world of Vinyasa Krama.

“Yoga is a light, which once lit will never dim.
The better your practice, the brighter your flame.”
It's no exaggeration to say that Kate's yoga classes changed my life. I came to my first shortly after the birth of my second child, when I was struggling to find any time for myself. I immediately sensed that Kate's teaching was something special and started returning every week. Kate's classes are dynamic, breath-led vinyasa flows, skillfully taught, and they reliably offer a connection to that intangible 'other' that's the true gift of any yoga practice. Over time, they made me stronger, more flexible, less anxious and increasingly present in my own body. Since Kate moved out of London, I've continued practising yoga regularly, but I still deeply miss her unique classes. I envy anyone with her on their doorstep!
